Bodhi Business Studio: Agentic Commercial Lending Demo

Bodhi Business Studio is the visual workflow builder within Sapient Bodhi that helps enterprises design, orchestrate and operate agentic business processes. Teams use the studio to create workflows in which AI agents reason, take action, access enterprise tools and collaborate with people within defined business, security and compliance controls.

Once a deal is selected, the workflow retrieves the deal record and its associated documents. A Document Analysis Agent classifies each document and extracts structured and unstructured information, a Policy Context Agent combines that output into a shared execution context, and specialized assessment agents then evaluate the deal in parallel. Results are presented in a consistent, reviewable format that can include the policy outcome, supporting evidence, extracted values, issue severity, a confidence score and any follow-up actions.

Agents use Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools to securely interact with the data and capabilities required to complete their work. In this lending workflow, tools retrieve deal metadata, access uploaded documents, classify and extract document content, save assessment results and update the deal record — all within the workflow’s defined security and compliance controls.

Yes. The lending professional remains responsible for reviewing the analysis, resolving exceptions and determining whether the deal should proceed. Agents complete routine document processing and policy checks, while judgment-intensive or higher-risk decisions are surfaced to the appropriate person.
