NEW YORK, NY, September 6, 2021 – Digital consultancy Publicis Sapient was named the winner of two gold Stevie® Awards for the “Most Valuable Employer During COVID-19” and “Internal Communications Team of the Year” in the sixth annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers. The awards recognized Publicis Sapient’s valient work during the pandemic to keep employees safe, healthy, employed, paid and informed.
“We’re incredibly proud of how our organization came togther during such a challenging time. The last year pushed us all to care for each other in ways we never had before from safety and mental health to connection and engagement,” said Publicis Sapient CEO Nigel Vaz. “Stevie Award’s recognitions are a testament to our commitment to one another and the outstanding job our internal communications team did in keeping us informed and connected. This past year, I’ve been truly humbled by our people and how adversity brought out the best of who we are at a time of both extraordinary challenge and tremendous growth for the company.”
“It’s very meaningful for us to be honored as the most valuable employer during the pandemic because it reinforces our unique culture and sense of community,” said Publicis Sapient Chief People Officer Kameshwari Rao. “From enabling the delivery of vaccines to communicating regularly, our company took significant steps to keep our people healthy and globally connected, and it was particularly inspiring to see our colleagues help each other stay safe. The role our internal communications team played was critical. Both of Stevie’s recognitions go hand in hand.”
